APPRECIATIONS

The MUR leadership, expresses its gratitude to Allah s.w.t for enabling the organization to pursue the “jihat” aimed at raising the standard of life for the Rohingyas in Malaysia – especially in the development of human excellence through education and da’wah programmes.

MUR also registers its appreciation to the government of Malaysia, JAKIM, JAWI, JAIS, MAINPP, PERKIM, the Royal Malaysian Police Force, Immigration, the Taqwa Foundation of the Federal Territory, the Zakat Administration Centre in Penang, the Zakat Board of Selangor as welll as Islamic NGOs such as WADAH, Future Global Network (FGN), Jemaah Islah Malaysia (JIM) and Global Peace Mission (GPM) for their support, advisory services and financial contributions.

Last but not least, we also extend our gratitude to UNHCR and a number of exemplary individuals such as Tan Sri Dr. Abdul Hamid bin Othman, Professor Azizah binti Kassim (Senior Lecturer from the National University of Malaysia), Haji Ahmad Azam Ab. Rahman and Haji Zaid Kamaruddin for their invaluable advice and assistance solving various problems connected with Rohingya refugees in the country.

We entreat divine blessings and assistance for the continued protection of the Rohingyas in the country – especially in upgrading the quality of their lives through education and missionary activities.  The Rohingya community will be able to transform their destiny and become useful citizens only if they are armed with knowledge, faith and submission to God.
